I am looking to sell or trade a right channel LSi9 speaker. It was purchased as a pair from the scratch and dent section of Crutchfield. I had a problem with 1 speaker and sent it back. They allowed me to keep this one. It is less than a week old and has only been used to insure it works.

I do not have a picture. I will consider any and all offers. P.S. It is a heavy little guy...35# without a box...please keep that in mind when thinking of shipping charges.

As explained in a different thread regarding a similar or the same issue, Crutchfield probably doesn't want it back as they'd have to pay the shipping for it and then what would they do with it, wait til they had a similar situation with a left one that they could pair it up with ?

So he should have to suffer the burden b/c they couldn't supply a pair of working speakers?

Unless I'm mistaken he basically got a single speaker for free.

If that's the case then how is that a burden ?

So the round-about answer to this question is: b/c he gets to keep it for free.

    thx

    Hi,

I was told to ship back the speaker that was not working. When I got the new speakers I called and told them that I now had an extra speaker. They said I could do whatever I wanted with it....

What is the price you'd be willing to part with it for? If it is right, I might try it out to answer the old question of if the LSi line matches the SDA's.

(No Russ, I won't be converting permanently away from pure 2-channel, just trying to answer the LSi and SDA HT question and yes, replacing your pre comes first ;) )

i'd be interested in a matching pair of LSi9's for a good price. Im sure that doesn't help, but just saying... Oh and you might want to say whether it's ebony or cherry

    Hey jdh,

I really don't know the value of 1 speaker. I am getting some trade offers too.

By the way, it is Cherry and from what I saw on another thread, it is the old finish.

Take anything else that you've got coming. If everything falls through, get back to me... I really have no use for it either other than experimenting with it as a center channel in and SDA system which is pretty much pointless since the SDA's image so well anyway.
