Any of you guys have an opinion on the brand and their value? I bought an Esoteric Dac but my local does not carry any of their products and I never bothered reading up on anything they sell because it has always been over my price range.

    Top notch in my book, but overpriced at retail. On the used markets you can snag the brand at reasonable prices. Had an ear on one of their cdp's a few years ago, impressive.

    Had a DV-50S that I recently sold so that I could upgrade to a K-07X. Hopefully I don't regret it because the DV-50S was superb in virtually every way.

    Their current DAC line-up is small but fantastic. I haven't yet had an opportunity to check out the Grandioso D1 but the D-02 and the D-07X are arguably the best DACs I have heard...but for the price at retail, they should be.
