Hi
Thinking of getting this one to use at the office. Not sure what bookies to pair it with. Maybe the Usher's I have will be a good match.

Be aware, it's all high gloss black plastic. Take a look at the one from Yamaha.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks Jesse I have been also looking at the Yamaha CRX-N560. I saw the Marantz at BB and it was kind of glossy....

I saw and hear the Yamaha last week. It's very small, but I liked the looks better. The gloss black side panels give it a touch of class. I only listened at a low volume, but it sounded ok.Political Correctness'.........defined

Don't have a heart attack Josh, they make some nice gear these days. I haven't heard the A-S3000 and CD-S3000, but damn they look top notch.Political Correctness'.........defined

Why won't they make a new turntable? Everyone else makes one.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

I'm still enjoying my Onkyo TX-8050. It's in the same genre as that Marantz, which I did consider as well.
I like the fact that the Marantz has a CD player and a small footprint, but aesthetically I like the Onkyo better. It has a brushed aluminum front panel and KNOBS...no knobs on that Marantz. And the Onkyo is much cheaper. Also, I have read that the smartphone remote control app for the Marantz is kind of buggy. The remote app for the Onkyo works very well."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine
