Nad 2200 vs Parsound HCA-800II vs Hafler DH120 in bridged mode....?

Want to bridge one of these and sell the other two. So, thoughts...?? Won't be used in a critical listening arrangement but still want the "best" sound of these three....

Bridging an amp requires two for stereo.
What will you be using it for?
Do you have a second one for the other channel?

    Okay
Just to make sure I understand what you are saying.

The NAD is the more powerfull of the lot when bridged.
I can't find any information on the parasound though.

Here is the OM with specs for the HCA-800ii. I have one of these that I may consider selling. The only thing is that I recap'd it with nice Nichicon caps, Clarity Caps and has other tweaks and may not match your amp any more.

Sound quality. I bought this amp along with a C/PT600 pre-amp from a fellow Polkie as an intro to separates. They both needed some TLC.

I notice a nice improvement replacing the old, lower grade caps. About 1/3 of the caps in the amp and pre-amp had gone out of spec. I did not change the large power supply caps as they are still good and a pain to replace.

This was not a John Curl design and they did some odd things, like placing the headphone jack and speaker selector switches near the noisy toroidal transformer. I added some shielding. I also increased the internal speaker wire gauge and tried to re-run low level signal wires away from noise sources. I also disconnected the phono plug inputs, leaving only the RCA as they were another possible source for noise. All this resulted in a lower noise floor. Combined with the pre-amp, that also got the treatments, the background became nice and dark, the sound stage more transparent and dimensional.

I'd still be using it today but I had an opportunity to snag an HCA-1000A that also needed some TLC. I did a full re-cap and got some pointers from the man himself (Mr. Curl).

If that's the case, I'd forget about bridging any of them. What are you going to be driving with these anyway ?

Honestly, I'd sell all 3 and buy one good/better amp and forget about bridging anything.

Add me to the sell all 3 list. :) There's always nice used gear popping up in the for sale section here you might like.
