I need some anti-blues in my collection

I have a lot of music, but most of it has a sort of dark edge to it. I need some bubbly tunes what do yooz suggest?

I've been (w)racking my brain to think of something 'bright' -- but most of the stuff here is pretty dark.

Meanwhile, listen to "Satan is My Motor" or "Sheep Go to Heaven" by CAKE.

Oh, wait! I know, I know! The first album by the Presidents of the United States of America!!! Great, goofy fun! Funny, too.

So -- how ashamed should I (should we) be if I admit that I've always loved "Roll with the Changes"?

If we want to go with the anthemic rock, there're tons (tonnes, for our Canadian friends) of individual songs. Songs that always make me smile... and usually make me drive too fast if I hear 'em in the car.

    E.g., howzabout:

Doobie Brothers "China Grove" :- )
    Grateful Dead "H-e-double hockeysticks in a Bucket" ;- )
    Steely Dan "My Old School"

Gotta be careful with bluegrass -- lots of children dying, unfaithful spouses gettin' offed, dogs gettin' backed over by pickup trucks, etc.

I love bluegrass, but only in fairly small doses. Stick to "Rocky Top" & you'll be fine! ;- )
