SL 3000 tweeters or RDO 198 upgrade?

So is there really that much difference in the sound of these tweeters, to spend 400 bucks for 198s for my 1.2s? Thought i would do some crossover upgrades first. Any thoughts?

    I did my 15tl's & did one side first & listened & took me 1 min to shut it down & quickly put the other in. Big difference & never been happier. Well worth the coin.

    You can do the tweeters first. Im sure the xovers will also make a big difference as they are tired. As far as price for tweets. I have no idea. Look around & see what everyone else is getting. I karma'd mine off here on CP to someone in need

    I think $25 a piece for any of the vintage Polk tweeters is a fair price. Peerless tweeters in very good shape possibly a few more bucks.
