R20 vs. Monitor 30 for fronts

I just finished dialing in my new FXiA4s (thanks Craig) which replaced Monitor 30s that I was using as rear surrounds.
My fronts are R20's.
Specs look the same for both R20s and Monitor 30s but wondering if there is an upside to using the 30s in the front?
"Losing" set goes to one of my kids.

Personally, i think R20s sound much better . I used to have a pair of monitor 30s as my fronts, and I wasn't very impressed with them. I replaced them with RTi38's, and now I use the 30 as my surrounds. Orders of magnitude better... How do the FXi surrounds compare to regular speakers? I've been thinking of going that route too.

Thanks. I love the FXis. We have a sofa against the wall, and I put them about 3 feet away from listening position, about 6 inches away from the wall, with the flat side (back) parallel with the wall.
Took a bit of re-tuning to everything to sound just right, but I'm getting a beautiful surround sound which seems to come out of nowhere.
