xwlrs5vd57h0.jpgm2bqt1py523s.jpg

With his hard earned money he bought his first 180 gram Vinyl Record. I hooked him up with a Onkyo Reciever, a Pioneer Turntable, and a pair of Polks he could of had a cd player hooked up but says he's strictly Vinyl, just another hipster young un riding the Vinyl craze says he can't wait for his next fix so we are gonna hit goodwill and salvation army tomorrow, me and the wife left him alone snuck up on him and he was dancing something like this. He was a little embarrassed but we told to go ahead and get his groove on. Yeah a vinyl fanatic in the making.

Oh yeah tomorrow he's heading to Des Moines with his little girl friend to see some band called Fall out Boy. Chip off the old block. So he will have to wait until Tuesday for our next vinyl run.

New Fall Out Boy is kinda lame, but they were very big when I was in high school over a decade ago. The lead singer is very talented, dude can play something like 70+ instruments and he can sing at every octave.

That's so cool, I gave my son a 77 vintage receiver, audio control eq, realistic amp and a pair of cerwin vega d-9s and that set up angers his mom at times but he loves it. And him liking it makes me happy, the receiver is a project one.

Mine was Black Sabbath's first album (with the witch on the cover).
On it's first playing, at the part where Ozzy screams "OH NO GOD PLEASE HELP ME" ! , my mother appeared in my bedroom doorway, with a concerned look on her face................it was to be the beginning of many such looks.

It's the Soundtrack to Straight Outta Compton, he is waiting for Record store day to pick out some more, He says he can't wait to get something new, he wants to start collecting Pink Floyds output on vinyl.

Be careful those new Pink Floyd remasters are killing my wallet. I have 2 out of 4 that I want, WYWH and Darkside. Still don't have The Wall as it's a tough $50 pill to swallow for two LP's. I got lucky and found a mint original Animals at my record store for $17. Even WYWH and Darkside were $30 a piece which is technically even more expensive per LP than The Wall. Crazy prices.

Records should be $20 friggin' dollars.

I can't complain too much though since I keep paying what I feel is too high of a price.
