I'd like to publicly thank Fred (@FTGV) and his lovely wife for selling me a Logitech UE Smart Radio they had and weren't using.
Its pretty much the same as the Squeezebox Radio with a few slight differences, but nothing that really matters. Runs on the same Logitech squeezebox server software which is all I really cared about.
I had it up and running on my network with the Squeezebox server within about 10 minutes. 5 minutes after that while I was letting it play while I tweaked with the settings, Scarlett was passed out with a big smile on her face listening to her Pandora Nature sounds station.
Its now installed in its final home and working great. Looks darn near new, or at least to my eyes. As a bonus it has a battery installed in it so I can move it around without the power for a a short time. Wasn't expecting that one.
Over time I've started to prefer to buy from forum members rather than eBay or other avenue's for used gear. People like exemplify why that is. He shipped it yesterday and it arrived from Ontario TODAY. So again thank you good sir for the super fast shipping.
Some pics are below.
Its final resting place.

Thanks Paul!
The goal is to incorporate music into our lives daily. I've found Skye seems to enjoy it quite a bit and has started singing herself when she thinks we aren't listening....
She has been asking lately to listen to "Daddy's music" on Pandora, and then after a bit she looks at my and says "OK, Daddy..... Skye music time" and we switch over to Radio Disney and go nuts to "Kiss da Girl" or similar hehehe
It's also a subtle investment for the future upgrades I want as they are something that "the kids and I will enjoy and bond over" ."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." The kids love picking out albums with me and listening and dancing in the living room.
They all have issues falling asleep, though. They'll go to bed fine, but not want to stay there. My wife (shockingly) mentioned maybe we need a "boombox" in each of their rooms to help them fall asleep.
I don't know why she thought of that instead of me. But I guess I'll be looking for something similar to what you got. Maybe some of the cheaper SONOS units.
Regardless, it is awesome to include my kids in my musical passion and know that they will be much better off with this 'education'2 ChannelTurntable - VPI Classic 2/Ortofon 2M BlueAmplification - Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum II, Parks Audio Budgie PhonoSpeakers - GoldenEar Triton 17.2 Home TheaterDenon AVR-X3300W; Rotel RMB-1066; Klipsch RP-280F's, Klipsch RP-450C, Polk FXi3's, Polk RC60i; Dual SVS PB 2000's; BenQ HT2050; Elite Screens 120"Man CaveTurntable - Pro-Ject 2.9 Wood/Grado GoldAmplification - Dared SL2000a, McCormack DNA 0.5 DeluxeCD: Cambridge AudioSpeakers - Wharfedale Linton 85th Anniversary; LSiM 703; SDA 2A -
