Polk RTi Bookshelfs!

Folks, I have a set of the RTi6's and the RTi4's in Cherry Veneer for sale. The RTi6's are hardly broken in and the RTi4's have never been hooked up. Asking $175 for the RTi6's and $150 for the RTi4's. I will pay $25 towards shipping on each set within the USA. All reasonable offers considered. No low ballers please.

Cheers,

Phil

These are the 6's as the 4's are just setting on a audio stand. The 4's have never even been used. They are still brand new. The 6's are barely broken in. Never really used the CSi5 either. here is a pic of the CSi5:

I just missed the RTiA5s and now this pops up. If these were black, I'd pick both sets up.
Good deal here everyone. Specially for barely used ones.

trj, I have a brand new set of Polk RTi8's in black oak for sale. The more one buys the better that can be made. So, let me know. BTW, the RTi4's have never been played and are also brand new. The same can be said for the CSi5 center channel. The only ones been played are the RTi6's and they are not fully broken in just yet. If a local pick up I can make a better deal. Just saying........

Do you use any of your gear? looks like the TV still has some kind of sticker on the bottom right side.

You can create a fairly solid HT surround setup with these. I use something similar in my bedroom. RTia-3s, Rti-4s, the center and a sub. Pretty darned good for those late night films!

Yeah, the tv is also new. The only speakers I have used are the RTi6's. These are just starting to open up some. So, they are not fully broken in just yet. The RTi4's have been taken out of the box and are on an audio stand in my BR. The CSi5 is hooked up but I have NOT even used it other than Audyssey upon set-up. So, the CSi5 is far from being broken in. I used to not really believe in the "break-in" things, but have noticed that the RTi6;s are really opening up and sounding better. At first, they sounded a bit tiny and veiled. But now, they rock. There is not a scratch on any of these speakers. Would like to get rid of all of them including a 15" sealed HSU-ULS-15 MK2 sub.

    Cheers,

    Phil

Hey Willo, I used the wrong quote. But, if you read the post you can see that I answered your question. Have had a rough morning as I just got home from a medical procedure and still a bit groggy.

    Cheers,

Yeah, the RTi6's are amazing inmho. They have always been my favorite. The RTi8's are a bit warmer in the midrange and of course more dynamic. The RTi4's are no slouches either. If someone bought everything I could hook them up. Especially, if it is a local pick-up. The RTi6's with the Hsu ULS15 MK2 sub is a potent combination. The Cherry looks fabulous to say the least folks!

    Cheers,

I already have RTi8s, CSi5s, RTi4s. All are ebony though. I was looking for ebony FXi3/5 or RTi6's to complete the 7.1. Unfortunately, I sold my Cherry CSi3, else I would definitely consider the 6's and 4's you have for sale. Its not going to go well with wife on a mismatched color. I do not have any more floor space for the towers, need a pair for surrounds/front heights. Wife is not going to let any more stuff on the floor till we move. Plus shipping them would kill the deal too.

Yeah, you got to keep the wife happy. That is for sure. Been there Bro on that one. Where are you located? I can make a better deal if it is a more local pick up. Especially, if it is all bought. Sounds like you have a nice set-up. I reside in the 42420 Zip Code.

Yeah, RTi's are definitely a good set up for HT purpose. I am quite happy with these. With a sub thrown in, the 8's serve as mains very capably. I use them everyday. With OTA broadcasts on dolby digital, I even watch news and late night show in surround sound. Haha. Just bought a SACD player and ordered dire straits brothers in arms in 5.1. Want to see how the RTi's perform in multi channel music.
Unfortunately, currently anything that takes floor space is a big no no. Hence looking for FXi's to mount them on the wall. Once I move to a house from an apartment, I plan to repurpose all these speakers in a dedicated HT and add a couple of pairs for Atmos. I had to pass on a rotel recently here in classifieds because of the space constraints. But hey having a plan is half the battle as I see.

I am located in 80210. Denver, CO. Shipping is definitely going to be expensive and cherry veneer is not going to work for me. Hopefully you get some local buyers soon.

Yeah, it sounds like my RTi's are not going to work for you and that is okay. I bet your set-up does sound good. Sounds like you have a solid plan. Certainly nothing wrong with that. Good luck with those plans.
