Unbelievable Steve. Nothing really new though for those who keep in touch with the situation. I have a feeling more and more are concerned given who the front runner is in this election cycle.

I think most border state dwellers, such as myself would tell you that we don't lie awake at night in fear of Mexican people crossing, we're worried about who is mixed in with them. Coyotes don't care, $1500 is $1500, you pay--you get passage and a ride waiting for you on the other side.

We had better f'n wake up, or we will relive 9/11 again; the only difference being we'll know EXACTLY who to blame this time.

This conference didn't even air on Southern Arizona news yesterday--that's why I posted it. If we Arizonans aren't hearing about it, then the rest of the country is going to be clueless about it. I'm livid right now with Tucson news organizations (except for FOX Tucson) totally blew this news conference off.

...and some are completely preventable. It's never a good strategy to justify bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior. The issue at hand here, is that we have government officials ordering agents to ignore the law. Now most states will roll over and play dead---I'm proud to be an Arizonan because most of our officials have integrity, and the marbles to display it; and they have the intestinal fortitude to call out other officials who are playing politics with the law--and therefore endangering other Arizonans just so they can compete in their next election.

I love Arizona, but realize we have alot of haters---and that's fine. Because frankly, we couldn't care less. It's less people sucking up our clean air and our beautiful landscapes.

There's a huge billboard at the Cali/Az borders as you enter Arizona, it reads: "Welcome to Arizona, official sanctuary of California gun owners." God Bless the Southwest.
