My apologies if I stepped on anyones toes....

Dont seem to cool to me, but it aint my thing.

Okay, Halen has the LSi15s and the Oppo 93.

Skip has a good point, so freebies to those with at least 250 posts. Also, it was pretty tacky to post this on some other forum.

Adding a Polk CSi 30 center to the mix.

Hi Bluefox, I can say that I did not come from another forum. I have a mutual friend of Skip's. Would still like to meet you and truly have a need for the 2b's...

His friend Sean, emailed him this afternoon.

I dont care about not getting the stuff. Thats fine. I wasn't first in line. Cool. What does bother me is your forums odd "us only" metho. It is off putting and makes someone who would have been a poster no longer interested.

I would think you would care less about post count and more about someone who has an appreciation for Polk gear. I love Polk. Always have. I have two full Polk setups ( one Monitor and one LSIM). Not only did you not bother to ask, you skip-ed (pun intended ) straight to the "us us us".

You're right, I don't post on here. I'm already on a Polk only group and don't do a lot of social media stuff. I thought it would be welcoming here but you were so worried about an outsider getting equipment that had already been considered for the trash you made it annoying . You seem more like AVS here than I remembered.

The "us" only has nothing to do with being more than welcome to join and post here, only selling and getting in on the free karmas we offer to each other. You're absolutely more than welcome to post and become a regular member here.

Surely that was meant regarding the broken gear and the 1980s entertainment center and not the several hundred dollar Oppos or speakers.

As a clarification the "other forum" actually is a google plus closed group of about 15 or less people, most of whom have accounts here and are browsing here often to read and post here somewhat infrequently, but do post.

I did that because most of us are forum members (Geoff, Aaron, myself, Gus, etc) here and quite a few are located in Cali.

So I didn't post it on say AVSForum.... I just used the word "forum" as it was easier to say that "closed Google Plus Polk Members club".

Apologies if that's still tacky. I just figured you'd want em gone and I was trying to help with that.

It's not an "only us" mindset. It's a "hey we like to keep it in the family". If you stick around you'll understand what that means to us. When someone pops up and just wants free stuff without ever contributing to the community, it just looks like they want a handout.

Well, not to get into a mixed words debate, but if you reread the ad, there's nothing mentioned of broken anything. There are two distinct separations with a foot note "Everything goes to the dump" and "While not for free, I'll take beer for LSi'a" "more to add later"

So, when "everything" is going to be thrown away, it does stand to reason that a guy could tell his buddy, they, before it gets thrown away, how about............

I don't see why everyone's panty's are in such an uproar over this thing, who gives a flying conniption fit who get's it anyway??? Blue fox is giving it way, let the man give it away..........I hate it when I find my nose off of my face and in someone else's business........come back here nose, get back where you belong :D

Technically, your wrong. There is mention of a broken item, the Benchmark Dac 1.

It's Fox's stuff, let the man give it away to whoever he wants. Thing is, it's not for us to determine that for him by posting it on other sites. If he wanted it posted elsewhere, I'm sure he's smart enough to post it elsewhere himself.

Oops, my bad, still, it's just a bunch of Polk owning folks from where Danny made the mention, Enders has been around for many years and he demonstrates integrity, I don't see the harm or the foul, when a guy mentions garbage dump, who the hell cares who knows about it???

I would never call Dan's integrity into question, he's a great guy and even greater forum member. We all however make mistakes every now and then, nobody is perfect. All I'm saying is, let Fox make the calls who he wants to give away his stuff to and where to list it, and if he prefers the dump to listing on other sites, so be it.

Before things get outta hand and strays farther from its intended purpose...

    @BlueFox

I apologize if I overstepped by posting this in a small group of guys who also frequent and are members here. Not my intention I just "assumed" which in this case did make a A$$ out of me, that showing it to a couple guys (some of which I thought were super close) would help you offload it quick with little to no hassle as I figured you didnt want to get questions about having stuff shipped, etc

My mistake and I apologize. In hindsight I guess I should have asked first and I didnt. My bad.

    Now back to the music.

    This - 110%

Dan is a great asset to this forum. The help he's given to me (someone he's never met) in setting up some new additions in my home theater, has been beyond anything I would have expected even from my closest friends. I've no doubt anything he did was done to help, not cause turmoil!

Phenomenal karma. Some lucky members got some good stuff courtesy of one very generous fox!

There are amazingly generous people on this site. Hopefully, no one is here for the karmas.
