My Vincent gear arrived got it hooked up and wow what a difference compared to my Adcom Pre Amp and Phono Stage. I love it, oh by the way Russ the wife already has cursed the ground you walk on but thanks for taking the heat.

I do hear a slight hiss with the volume turned down not over whelming or anything which is normal I hear for tubes. Playing Jaco Pastorious Big Band SACD and I'm just happy with the sound I'm hearing, if I didn't have to get up at dawn and work tomorrow I would stay up all night and listen to tunes and stare at the lights.

    Oh yeah both my Technics and Sony Turntables are outclassed by the Pho-700 hopefully the new Technics Tables come out sometime soon.

    I checked out a pretty nice Jolida but for some reason I wanted some tube glow visible as the Jolida had no visible tubes, I tell you guys something though Mark Knopfler has never sounded better I like what I hear so far, figured I might as well get my feet wet and start somewhere, female vocals, stringed instruments wow so far so good. I could literally sit here all night.[

    8 out of 10 clay pigeons with a 20 Guage wingmaster not sure how good a shot she is with anything else, no worries she will toss back a few beers with us if you come over tomorrow night.

    1) Well that's good (the Knopfler part) -- no comment on the drinkin' and shootin' part :-P


    2) at least your new toys don't have LEDs shinin' up through the tube bases (or, if they do, at least they're "natural colored").

    I mean, who really thought this was a good idea?! :-/

    I mean, I do understand the LEDs change color to indicate status or some such, but, Jeez Louise, Gordon Gow must be oscillatin' in his grave.
