J6P == Joe Six Pack, a term which I abhor. It seems to be the generic term for anybody who doesn't want what the accuser has.

ntculenuff-on the forum it is used more for the average Joe. The guy who can't afford to go spend a fortune on audio gear. Shops more at C.C. & B.B. instead of the Hi-End shops. Drinks beer instead of Johny Walker-Green or 20 year old scotch. That kind of thing, I think. Maybe crazyhead is saying the same thing don't know, I never heard of it in the terms of not wanting what the accuser has or who the accuser even is. Maybe I'm out of the loop too or its just the generation gap thing.
BTW-there are lawn mower races on here in FL. quit often along with swamp buggy, and yeah I watch em.Chris -
i'm sporting out my john deere with a VR6 this summer...:D
lawnmower races...wtf -
Well, we're saying the same type of thing -- sort of. I just don't like people drawing broad conclusions that everybody who doesn't have Brand-A amp and Brand-B speaker cables is uncultured or downright stupid.
Just because someone prefers beer over hard liquor doesn't make them a fool.
This kind of brazen elitism is the only thing I don't like about this hobby.

i think that the j6p stereotype is better used in situations of preffering pan & scan over OAR. i don't think i will offend anyone here by saying that...:D
