Has anybody ever put that Armacell tape on the back of some tweets as a replacement gasket? Good idea? Bad idea?

Some refer to sheets of armacell? Is there a narrow tape available as well and I'm having a hard time finding retail outlets for the stuff.

Armacell is sold on rolls. I found mine @ Home Depot.

    It is 2" wide

Yep, I also got mine at Home Depot. I think it was $8 for the roll. You'll have to take a sharp blade to it and make it to size. My tool prep for my mods on the 2Bs. tiziqq4epxpc.jpg

Of course, you could simply leave your stock gaskets alone if they are not damaged. After all, they were specifically made for the job unlike the window gasket.

Unfortunately the original gaskets have definitely seen better days. But I'm pleased with the results of the Armacell on them.
