Jolida Fusion good choice for a first tube preamp?

Hey all been lusting for a tube preamp that won't break the bank, a starter tube preamp. I found a local dealer through audiogon and for $300 more it is upgraded with clarity caps. I plan on checking it out soon and see if I can demo one, my question is does Jolida make good preamps? I guess the best way to find out is to demo one.

    Heard good things about them. I have the fusion DAC/T. So far so good.

    I haven't heard it personally, but I know a few members have one or had one at some point. Maybe they'll chime in but if I recall, they all liked it.
