This is a long shot. Due to size restraints i cant use the rack mounts in my entertainment center and had to take them out. Carver made a screw in insert to fill the small gap. I will try to attach a picture of what i need. Thanks guys.

Fyi.....the two plates in pic are from diff Carver amps hence the diff sizes.

Post this on TheCarverSite (and say bean told you to).
Then post it on CarverAudio and tell them EndersShadow said to.
Those are your BEST SHOT to find someone with them squirreled away. PM Kingman on either site as he has a massive hoard of Carver IIRC"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." And what amp is it from? A AV-X05x series amp? AV-705x or AV405x? Or is it for a M series amp..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

I just pulled them out and all I have is the handles and they have 2 instead of 3 holes in the mounting. Don't know the size or if they will work but if you could get some dimensions for me, I will check.

I'd be curious to see how you make out with the Carver sites. I need to get registered over there. I'm looking for rack handles (just the handle and screws like the one in your first pic) for my TFM-25 amp.

^Punk you just need to TELL ME THAT
I will post over there for you if you want lol"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

Maybe if the two amps are the same size we could swap the handles for the plastic inserts. Not sure it the TFM and A series have the same chassis though. -

Don't think they are. Think the A series is taller than the TFMs"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
The plastic insert i need for the A-500x is exactly 4 and 3/4 inches.

I think they are different... The rack ears on my amp are not detachable - they are one piece with the faceplate. As for plastic inserts, there is a plastic backing behind the faceplate, but I think it runs in behind the faceplate. Here are some pics of my amp with the missing handles and a couple of the receiver I'm I sung as a pre WITH the handles.
Mine is shorter as well:

Yeah...that def looks different
-
Wow - I really need to dust the equipment rack.

We've all been there...lol
