CSiA6 or Amp for A9's

Finally got a set of A9's, I love how more tight they sound then the TSi's did. Here are my choices:

1) Keep the CS20, upgrade to an external amp to run the A9's instead of my SC-37
2) Upgrade to a CSiA6, continue to power everything through my AVR
3) Convince wife I need to upgrade both... (not sure this ones gonna fly)

Your opinions matter

*Side amp question*
Adcom gfa 555 ii, worth the upgrade from my AVR? Are you able to bridge them as well? Have a local guy selling 2 of them.

Comments

  • Maybe a new sub is the way to go.. I'm new to this so I could be completely wrong...I would pick #2 I own the CSi a6 and love it, it will also match your FXi a6

Just my experience, I didn't like the CS20 no matter what I drove it with. The CSiA6 was the charm. You may still want a new center even after adding a new amp.

    Concur
Takes weight off the SC-37 and your center is lacking...FYI make sure to have room for the CSiA6
