Any LetGo users out there?

What to do if people don't reply on LetGo? The site seems to be a fancier, less scary version of Craigslist....for those people are weary of using Craigslist and being be-headed. I'm waiting for a reply on a B&K amp.....any ideas.....am I doing something wrong?

Why would CL be scary ? You just use common sense in all these sites. In other words, you don't carry a thousand bucks in your pocket going into an apartment complex on the south side of Chicago. Heck, you don't even go to the south side period.

Our town just set up a local CL deal area. It's the fire department parking lot and it is posted and has cameras.

I usually just use the Walmart lot.

I installed LetGo and Wallahop on my phone recently. Neither one seems to have many users in my area. I posted one item for sale and I have gotten a nibble but nothing else.

I'll echo the craigslist comments. A little common sense and meeting in public places and you should have nothing to worry about. If something seems fishy, bail.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I have had great success buying and selling on Craiglist....I just think the majority of people who think Craigslist think about the few associated murders and beheadings. And Tony....the White Sox are on the south side......are you saying you're a Cubs fan???

No, I'm saying I'm a Chicago fan, regardless if the North or south win. I try not to go to Sox park though. Nice ball park and all, but the area is the pits.

Funny, nobody I know associates CL with those few incidents. Would you stop going to McDonalds because someone somewhere shot up the joint ? Doubt it...isolated incidents does not a crisis make.
