Okay, say I've got two setups, one with the RTi150s in front and the other with some RT600s in front. Say I've got two pairs of surrounds, a pair of M1s and a pair of R10s...

Which surrounds would go better with which fronts?

Yes, I know that neither are voice matched to either pair of fronts, but just looking for opinions on which would go with which best...

    Stick with the M1 man....

A better way to tell, plug both up to the main channels, and listen to clarity, etc...
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Move the 150 into the 2 channel only room then buy an svs sub for the 600:D

throw the surrounds in and WOW you have 1 helluva system.

150's for mains, 600 for surrounds, add a center channel and you'll be good to go.

the 150s are mine, the 600s belong to someone else...

I've got a pair of M1s and R10s that I can use as surrounds, trying to figure out which surroungs to give to the guy with the 600s and which to keep with my 150s...

I know you don't have these but I think this is really sweet.

    It what I'm using

    Front 150's

Center CS400i (better match would be the CSi40)

Surrounds RT800i (better match would be the RTi70's)

Large speakers all around it's well balanced nothing seems out of place.

    Speakers
    Carver Amazing Fronts
    CS400i Center
    RT800i's Rears
    Sub Paradigm Servo 15

    Electronics
    Conrad Johnson PV-5 pre-amp
    Parasound Halo A23
    Pioneer 84TXSi AVR
    Pioneer 79Avi DVD
    Sony CX400 CD changer
    Panasonic 42-PX60U Plasma
    WMC Win7 32bit HD DVR
