Hey guys,
So as my home theater needs keeps going up, i cant help but also think about the LFE channel. I have two of the Rythmik Audio Fv15hp subs and they are fantastic, but looking at getting another two to get a better response in the room. Though after reading numerous threads and talks about DIY subs, im here wondering if i should sell the Rythmiks and build 4 x 18" sealed subs or get two more Rythmik.
The room size - 30' x 24' x 10'
Also if i go with DIY, i would have to make the cabinet from scratch as ordering 4 flat pack cabinets would cost me my arm to ship to New Zealand.
So what do you guys think?

Buy them from a store.
Buy a matching set to your current subs.B&W CM9Classé Sigma -
I have decided on going the DIY route and keeping the Rythmiks as nearfield subs.

DIY is always much more bang for the buck. If you plan to keep your current ones keep in mind that you'll have to dink with phase and delay, possibly different crossover points. Can't just plop down four sealed and two ported in the same room and expect them to play nice together by default.
