More info is needed. Which type do you have? Polk made three type the two most popular are blade/blade and pin/blade
  • My Sda-1 speakers have the blade and pin interconnection, the Sda-2 speakers I just got have a blade/ blade(parallel) connection on the back of the enclosure. Thanks in advance!

    SDA 1's are not pin/blade.

  • I respectfully disagree, Mine are blade/pin! I purchased them in Reno at a Good Guys store back about 1990-1991and clearly labelled SDA1

The SDA 1 was made from 1982 to 1983. The SDA 1A was made from 1983 to 1986. The SDA 1B was made from 1986 to 1987. None of those are pin/blade.

The SDA 1C was made from 1987 to 1990 and is pin/blade, so that is likely what you have. A picture would help to identify yours.

that type B/b comes up often on eBay, be careful as some sellers think they are worth their weight in gold:( Polk used to send out ends to make your own do not know if that still happens but calling Polk customer service will get you your answer. Most here have switched to Speak-Ons

You will need two of both in the links if that is the way you choose.

For the time being you can use some crimp on spades from say auto- zone or advanced auto and put small size to either negative or positive side of your speaker wire and larger size to the other side of the wire so each end will have small/large spade on the same positive or negative conductor.
