I have an Alpine CDE-7870 head unit and i have the sub level vol. turned up to 5... it goes to 15.. I'm running a C500.1 amp and 2x MM2124's, should i leave this where it's at?

thanks

if the gain on the amp's been properly set, i would be careful turning up the sub's output level from the hu. id turn other things down instead. it's all about balance. and not cooking your equipment.

actaully..by having it at 5..you have it set quite low- as according to alpine... 15 is nominal use... then you taper off... at least with my 7908...
