Rotel RMB-1075 - FEELER

Hmmm... Got something in mind and tossing around the idea of making a change. This sale is another tough one should I decide to officially sell it. Bought this from Phil (Pearsall001) last year from this thread:

It has performed flawlessly in our HT since I got it. I really love this amp. It brought my HT to a totally new level of sound. Never had one issue.

If I do decide to sell, I'd be looking to break even. I believe I paid around $475 + gas + a bottle of wine... but Phil and his wife shared a priceless dinner when I picked it up, so breaking even would be giving it away :) ! Seriously though, I'd be looking to get $475 for it. It's in the same condition as in the pics in the other thread. I did touch up some of the minor scratches on the cover.

Just gauging interest before I officially go any further with this crazy idea...

Anyone looking for a good 5-channel amp?

I have the same model and don't let the 120wpc dissuade you. Doesn't heat up and has tons of power.

Sorry guys! Quickr1 nailed it. I'm SMACK DAB in the CENTER of the state of Pennsylvania. Just outside of State College (near Penn State). I'm about 90 miles from Harrisburg, 150 miles from Pittsburgh, 140 miles from Scranton, and 200 miles from Philly!

And yes Dan, you spelled Harrisburg right!

I never really did understand the "feeler" sales strategy.

By the way, I used to live in Williamsport so I know exactly where you are.

Simple really... Gauging interest. There's an upgrade I'm considering, but I can't move forward until I have some level of confidence that I can sell this. I need to come up with some of the funds, and a lot of things need to fall in place before I can commit to selling this.

I suppose I could have listed this for sale... but if for some reason, the amp I'm considering upgrading to sells (or doesn't check out), I can't (don't want to) sell this! If someone here says they'll buy this, I wouldn't feel right changing my mind at that point. I've seen other 'feeler' ads that have had people 'line up' if the OP decided to sell. So far, no one has expressed any interest in buying...

I've also go a Parasound for sale here at a very good price. Got a lot of comments on it, but not one person looking to buy yet. I have to exercise some restraint! I can't buy the new-to-me amp if the Parasound doesn't sell and there's no interest in this.

So I guess what I'm looking for with this thread is this... Is anyone looking for a good five channel amp?
