That's expensive! I got my Salamander Synergy rack on Craigslist for $60! >:)

Congrats on the find. Salamander makes fine furniture. That is a Salamander, right? Looks like one anyway.

It's a Salamander with five adjustable shelves....I tried to chisel the guy down but he knew I was already getting a deal.

    Nice find!

Got my Salamander S40 off Craigslist for $75. Get to the house, it's a divorcée getting rid of the last vestiges of her ex--Turns out the rack has a Pioneer Elite DVD player on the top shelf. "Take that too," she says. So the Pioneer's pulling duty at my parents' house. Not bad for $75!

    You done good.

is this the 603? yeah dude, an absolute steal. I can't believe you tried to get him lower - if it's the 603, that's a $1500 cabinet, man lol any lower and you should at least have offered to use sandy Vaseline.

seriously though, sweet find - that's a beautiful piece.

Looks familiar...I picked up a Synergy S40 back in the first year or two after I got into this hobby. Still have it. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was $100 or less on Craigslist. My wife thought I was crazy until I showed her the normal price of those racks.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...
