The follow-up to Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This time around, developer Rockstar North and publisher Rockstar take players to San Andreas, California. The choice of San Andreas goes back to the original 2D game Grand Theft Auto, which featured a three-stage structure, offering the levels Liberty City, Vice City and San Andreas. San Andreas was the second area players moved to as they progressed through the quest. Expected to feature a look into Chinese and Mexican gang life around San Andreas, the anticipated third-person action game is slated to be released exclusively for PlayStation 2 in October 2004.

Yeha this is going to be great, I did read up on it last week though.

I was hoping for a complete system wide release, but it will be okay on the PS2.

I hope there is some type of multiplayer aspect to it also.

People with real live friends usually care about consoles. I never play my console systems (XBox & PS2) unless my friends are over and we're all playing darts, listening to tunes, and drinkin'.

The PC makes far better games, but you have to be a real lame **** to go through the trouble of setting up a LAN party.

This game will be released to all platforms. The current announcement means nothing. They said the same thing for GTA: Vice City

We find a big place that'll cover utilities for a small building use fee. It's usually the cafeteria in the school where my brother works.

I apologize... perhaps my original post didn't come off quite clearly enough as sarcasm. It's common in the gaming world for console gamers to disregard the PC guys, and vice versa.

My own reason for liking the PC is that I already have a nice PC, so I don't have to really spend any more money on it to play games, except for the games themselves. If I were to wish to play console games, I would still have to purchase the console, but also have to keep the computer.... Me don't have that $$$ :D

As far as consoles...I never play them unless I have friends over, as I said. :D
