Has anyone tried any Samsung remote app for android?

I see a few and the reviews are kind of sketchy

    That's probably because most brands apps aren't very user friendly, have basic functionality, or work sporadically. That's why you get so many mixed reviews. Usually the software driven companies have better apps....the Apples, Sonos, or others who put some thought and constant upgrading into their software. Sony is finally getting better but still could use some work imho.

    I tried it with my G4 phone and went back to using the supplied universal remote with my DVR. Has all the functions I need and more that the Samsung app didn't or was difficult to use.
