Wireless security camera system

I have been thinking about getting a wireless camera security system for the compound and it looks like there is a ton of stuff out there with different options. I would like at least six cameras(option to add more) with night vision capability and a dvr. I just don't want to go out and buy something and have regrets later. If your an expert or have experience please share your thoughts. As always I appreciate the input here.

No personal experience but Costco has a couple systems and a very liberal return policy.

I'll be watching this also. Been thinking same thing. Seen several at Parts express but most are out of price range or just do not match my needs. Most I seen with night vision are very limited range or very fuzzy resolution. I also have no computer and aluminum siding that will play havoc with the wireless cameras...or so I hear

Zmodo has decent system for the budget minded. I have a 4 camera system 3 outdoor 1 inside complete wireless setup no DVR, didn't feel the need to record/store everytime the motion sensors went off. I get alerts on my cell phone and I can control if I want to record or just take a snapshot.Family Room HT 7.2/i]:Vizio Oled55h1 Pioneer Elite SC-LX502 Pioneer Elite BDP 85FD Eversolo DMP A6 Panamax M5300-EXSpeakers Fronts Fluance XF8L Center Polk Audio S35 Side Surrounds Fluance bipolar Rear Surrounds FluanceXF8 Bookshelf Subs SVS PB4000 x2 Living room 2ch: Crown Xli 1500 amp Teac EQ MKII FX Audio X6 Mk II DAC Squeezebox Touch Fluance Signature Tower Speakers Panamax M5100-EXOffice media room:Vizio M50Q6 50" Pioneer Elite VSX LX301 Eversolo DMP-A6 Polkaudio R50 Towers Polkaudio CS 10 Panamax M4300 Monoprice 12" subMaster bedroom:Vizio M55Q7 Pioneer Elite VSX LX302 Pioneer Elite BDP 85FD Squeezebox Touch Polk audio RTi 6 fronts, Rears Dayton B652 Polk Audio CS10 center Monoprice 12" sub Panamax M5300-EX

Check out Ring. They have a wireless cam now too. Two way audio, cloud storage, easy setup.
Drop cam is good but more than three can cripple your average network.
If you have the money, look at icrealtime.B&W CM9Classé Sigma -
The problem with wireless is it really wireless, not really as most still require power. Will you be able to get power to the locations?

Ring doorbell.
Has a camera, two way audio, easy setup, cool app, and can be wired or you can use the battery that is built in ( last 1 year).

Ring Camera, same deal. Has a battery built in, works on WiFi.
I have the Doorbell and its great.

another cool thing they offer is stolen cam/doorbell replacement. So if somebody takes you gear, they will send you new stuff.
