$99.95 polk rti4
bizarre thing happened last night as I surfed the net. i landed on a $99.95 buck pair rti4 brand new on newegg. well, actually it's on ebay but the seller is newegg. and yes it's a cherry color. so, without much further ado, I went ahead and bought it.
that was around 12midnight central time. after a couple of hours passed, I thought of buying another pair for my front heights in cherry color too. the speaker listing was saved on my watch list. when I check it out, it was already back to $279.95. but the black pair is still 99.95 bucks though.
are these kind of deals happen often in newegg? it's very hard to find a cherry colored rti4 for a hundred bucks nowadays. even the used ones on ebay are around 150 to 200 bucks.

I had a similar experience with newegg back when I bought my RC65i in-walls; they were $99/pair NIB, which I thought was a steal. I went back a day or so later because I told someone about that deal, and they were back to $199/pr.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

a day after that, I went back and decided to just get the black pair for $99.95. when I opened my watch list on ebay again, the black pair has already gone back to $299.99. better luck next time then.

I had the exact same experience with Newegg.. bought the cherry RTi4s at $99, when the day before they were $129. The black ones were $99 at the time. Then the next day went back to buy 2 more Cherry ones and they were back up to over $200...
