Selling my Denon PMA 2000AE integrated amp. These are very rare and this unit is an early non remote version. The 2000AE was follow up to the 2000IVR but in this case Denon pulled out all the stops. I think they sold for between $2500 and $2900 when new. It puts out 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 160 into 4 ohms with a whopping 120 amps of current delivery. Notice that it doubles into 4 ohms which is way amps should work but often do not. Has 7 inputs including an excellent MM//MC phono stage and two tape loops. Also has power amp direct to include the unit in a home theater set up. There is a record out selector and bass and treble control as well as balance.. Also has a source direct which bypasses the tone controls. The sound is smooth as you would expect from a MOS FET unit and the 80 watts per channel is joke as it sounds way more powerful and in control then many seperates I have heard. The soundstage is holographic with a great deal of air and space. life size images. The unit works perfectly and is in great shape with a couple of small scratches on the edge. It looks very sharp and has a great feel. I am only selling this because I want a remote. This will probably turn out to be mistake on my part. They are few and far between so I am asking a reasonable $795 or make me an offer.
