    The trick is, you have to soak them in a small vat of ArmOr All, remove carefully with pliers, place on light spin cycle in your washing machine then dry in the microwave. My Herb Albert collection has never sounded better.

    BION... it's not the worst idea in the world... and no, I'm not kidding.

    "Wet" playing an album is a long established practice to eek out a relatively quiet play out of an album nearing the end of it's life. Ususally in an effort to transcribe it to another medium, tape, etc.

    Normally distilled water is the fluid of choice, but a silicon solution could have some advantages. There is a certain amount of friction required, however, for an LP to play. Whether AA would go beyond this, I don't know...
