Transparent Musiclink

Over the lunch hour I went for a walk to a used audio shop down the street. I stumbled upon two pairs of TML cables, one all black with a small oblong box and the other was a white(ish) cable with a rectangular box. What are the differences and are they worth $100 cad a pair? so that's about 70USD.
I'm looking to replace the SC II from my CDP.
Or would that be a waste since I have the diamond backs from my avr to my Rotel?

I don't know the difference as I don't follow every line they make. Generally speaking though, they make some pretty good sounding cables and at 70 bucks U.S., doubt you'd find better for the price.

I would move the Diamond backs to the cdp, and put the transparents between the AVR and Rotel. It's usually better to have the better cables as close to the gear last to hit the speakers.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. I'd need 3 cables of the same he only has one pair of each. Back to the drawing board.

Why ? grab them for the 70 clams and try them out. Nothing is written in stone.

I don't want my left and right to possibly sound different than my centre.

So then leave the diamond backs where they are, put the new ones on the cdp.

When you play music, your not using the center anyway, and in HT, doubt you'd tell the difference with the center in use.

70 bucks is a no brainer for decent IC's.

I would say try it out for that price, if they don't work out, then you have a nice back up pair in the closet if needed.
