I have the P5, but I haven't hooked it up with my 703's. I feel confident in saying that it would be a good match. HT bypass is a nice feature and the sole reason I own one. I think you'll be very, very happy with this set-up.
You've got me thinking of running my P5/703 together. If I get around to doing it in the next few days I'll post my impressions.

After reading some here I thought the P5 and 1500A would be a good choice for Music (my current budget) and leave some doors open for HT. But I'm not sure, that is why I'm checking in here.

Yes the P5 has dual sub outputs and bass management. I have 2 subs connected. All you need in 1 pre.My New Year's resolution is 3840 × 2160

What about the McCormack DNA 1 Deluxe and Parasound P5?Seems to me we need to get a McCormack in David's hands then.

It would be double what I was hoping to spend on the Parasound HCA 1500A...but since I don't have and amp or heard either of these two I figured I'd get some feedback.
Also, I've seen on some posts where you talk about reconditioning and recapping amps. How does one know when that should be done with older amps?

How does one know when that should be done with older amps?
