Korean Records?

This may not be the place for this question, but I figure more vinyl people will see it here than under Music & Movies
In looking for some older releases on vinyl, I'm coming up short. In some cases, I'm not sure the album will be re-released on vinyl, and so I come across some listings on Ebay with Korean distribution, as in, made in Korea.
Any of you vinyl fiends got any info on the quality and such of these records? Info in general? Just wondering whether they're okay, or something to steer clear of.

$50?
I don't have anything against Korean stuff at all. I just have no sense of what's what in vinyl, seeing prices all over the place, often limited availability for older rare stuff, and with no knowledge of who has the ability to press what, and from what original format. I'm gathering a few things now a couple more weeks in. Discogs seems like a good resource for history. I see a lot of stuff out there unofficially released, sometimes labeled "import", questionable quality - surface marks, mold lines, etc., with vinyl forum/board comments talking about how some releases were just cheaply re-pressed, ripped from cd, etc.? Isn't that a not-so-good thing for records?
Just soaking up knowledge, perhaps even some of it incorrect.I disabled signatures.
