Classé Sigma

Hey,
Just wanted to say that I installed a Classé Sigma SSP to a home theater using Genelecs and that I was very impressed by it. Setup was easy with the built in touch screen and OSD option. ( cool feature, the touch screen will let you play back any of the HDMI video inputs.)
Lots of built in features too tweak sound but no built in software to adjust sound automatically with a mic.
Anybody else use this new Sigma stuff yet?
How about the matching amp?

Nope, not me. Anything Classe makes though is going to be sweet. For me I don't dig the looks of the Sigma series, kinda looks like the adopted son of the SSP 800.HT SYSTEM-

I always wish these highend companys never showed up at the dinner table so late. The stuff is totally awesome and sounds great but now you get cold feet to invest as we are now moving into super multi channel setups with speakers under the couch. I wish Anthem, Classe and Krell would be more current upon release.
I spoke with Craig who sells the gear for Theta and those guys have nailed it as the tech they are putting out now into the new HT preamps is built for the future. Those guys have planned way ahead in anticipation of new formats and my next serious piece of HT gear will be be from them as your investment wont depreciate like a cell phone. -

Anybody intrested in controlling it with a crestron system, we were able to do so over IP with no real issues. I think in the file online they didn't convert vol+ to IP so we had to make our own.B&W CM9Classé Sigma

I am looking to upgrade the Onkyo SC5509 pre in my HT, and this is a candidate. The Bryston SP3 is also, but $9k new is a bit steep. Would like to find a used one or demo around $5k.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

Snag a Theta from Craig aka xtremefun thetamax llc on audiogon, check out the new version with the mic and read up on it. -
