Stereophile pinpointed the precise moment it was OK to switch to transistors

Looking at an old (ca. 1971) Dynaco brochure tonight (acquired from www.hifiengine.com a wonderful resources to folks like me) and saw a couple of quotes that, given the components referenced, I found rather amusing... so I thought I'd share.

    It looks like 1971 was the year Dynaco lost their hearing abilities.
    Vinyl, the final frontier...
