Monitor 10 Question
Setting up a home theater system using Polk speakers and have vintage Monitor 10's that are in excellent shape for fronts and need advice as to what is best for similar quality Center Channel and 4 surrounds. Any advice ? Would a Polk CS 350-LS suffice for Center ?

Would a Polk CS 350-LS suffice for Center ?
That would make an excellent center. You also could consider a CS-400, CS-400i, or a CS2.4 surrounds.
I use Monitor 5Jr+ as my surrounds on my Monitor 10B-fronted (and CS-400i-centered) HT system. Many others here use Monitor 4, 4.6, 5, or 7 also, with great results.

Thanks all for the info provided ..... Would like to know how to determine the type of tweeters that are in my Monitor 10's ? I see in various blogs that there were various types that were installed in Monitor 10's, but I don't know if mine are good or just OK.
The tweeters typically cut out when pushed hard, but that's not a bad thing since they are designed to do that. Would appreciate anyone's advice. What upgrades can be made and is upgrading the tweets worth the time, effort and $ ? -
A picture of the tweeter would help to determine which one you have. Typically Polk will have drop in replacements that are an easy to swap out and will greatly improve the high end. If the tweeter is cutting out, it is probably the poly switch tripping. Over time that switch tends to trip easily. Most people here replace it with a .5 ohm resistor. A crossover rebuild with new capacitors, resistors etc would greatly improve the sound and performance of the 10's. There are members here that can do a crossover rebuild for you. Welcome to Club Polk
