I think spikes improve sound with speakers, but should the Sub be spiked also. My sub it not designed for them I don't think.

did u put granite or concrete under it? that would probably be better then spiking it.

The PSW202 is not made for spikes, but I installed them. I noticed a small improvement, or at least think I do, plus it looks good....that's enough for me.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Ok, so how did you do this? My sub Paradigm Sub serve-15 like what it gives me I don't really know if spikes will help anything with this Sub, it 90lbs or so. It sit's on my carpet on a concrete floor.Originally posted by dorokusai

The spikes from www.oregondv.com come with inserts. I drilled a hole, screwed the insert into the subwoofer, then screwed in the spike. Most aftermarket spikes will come with inserts.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Sure it's ok. I think that would be up to you....beings if you heard a difference or not. I would keep the granite, if you have hardwood floors, and were on a second floor....or just on the second floor with carpet.
My HT is in the basement, but still use granite, because it looked good, and was free. I did not notice a change either way, with or without the use of granite in my application.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? i was using a piece of marble from a really old table, and it made a difference from just being on the carpet floor. i have the granite becasue i found a remnant for about 20 bucks and couldnt resist (looks nice). can t notice a difference between the marble and granite, but the granite looks alot nicerLiving Room 2 Channel -
