Testing a set of Monitor 10B's

I'm new here. Found you when I began looking for info on the Monitor 10B speakers. I originally bought these in 1980 something, used them and loved them until I went to digital with a home surround system. I just got them back! I'm wanting t know how to "test" them and check them out for before I start using them again. How and what do I do make sure they are performing well?

Press gently on the 6.5" drivers and make sure you don't hear and feel any scratching noises or worse, they're frozen and don't move at all.

  • THANKS for the tips on how to check out a pair of old speakers. I think that to hook them up and listen to them was a brilliant. They seem to check out and sound amazing.
