Just placed an order with the Cable Company to upgrade my HT/Surround system Shunyata Triton v1 to a v2. Plus the v2 will be black, which is the perfect color for HT gear.
Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
Sony XA-5400ES SACD; Pass XP-22 pre; X600.5 amps
Magico S5 MKII Mcast Rose speakers; SPOD spikes

Shunyata Triton v3/Typhon QR on source, Denali 2000 (2) on amps
Shunyata Sigma XLR analog ICs, Sigma speaker cables
Shunyata Sigma HC (2), Sigma Analog, Sigma Digital, Z Anaconda (3) power cables

Mapleshade Samson V.3 four shelf solid maple rack, Micropoint brass footers
Three 20 amp circuits.

    Congrats and Merry Christmas brother. I looked at the Power Conditioner you have and almost peed my pants. Makes the one I have coming look like a Mickey mouse toy!! Just awesome gear you have. The more I get onto it, the more I appreciate the finer things I am learning about. Enjoy and do a review on the new cables once they are all set up. Tis' the season!! :)

    Sunyata is the void, emptiness, where no sound can be "heard", but where all sound originates! Probably some DXXX good cables if the company went to the trouble of naming them after such an esoteric Buddhist concept!

    Good question. I just posted on another forum that I get a bigger kick out of cable and power upgrades than I do with gear upgrades. I expect gear to sound better, but I still am just amazed at the improvement a cable/power upgrade will bring.

    Check out how the noise reduction ability of the Triton power conditioner is now being used to measure heart electrical pulses. Shunyata rocks!

    Actually, the Triton is a box (8 port power conditioner). The less reflective light in a HT the better it is.
