Graphics Adapter Karma

I saw some of the Christmas Karma threads so thought I would do one as well.
I was cleaning out my desk and ran across a desktop workstation graphics adapter I thought someone could use. The adapter is a PNY branded nvidia quadro fx 1700

I can't bring myself to just toss it in the trash but have no use for it in anything running here. nvidia lists a current and up to date 64 bit driver. Installs in a PCIE slot. I will clean the fan and re-bed the processor with Arctic Silver for the new owner.

Nice 3D rendering adapter with simple to implement dual monitor capability.
Add a post if you are interested and Sunday evening a random number generator can pick the winner. All I want is the actual shipping to whomever wins.

I honestly thought someone would have a use for this. In its prime this was a high end piece. Into the recycling bin it goes.

Give it a little time. Any karma is a nice gesture...
-
Its not like it eats anything and I have already rebedded the heat sink. I can give it a few days. Someone with an older desktop system using built in graphics would most likely see an improvement.
-
I'm in. It should be a nice upgrade to my onboard. 81

Nice karma!
I have a GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 64 MB@426 MHz in an older Dell Inspiron 531 (AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core). It's a spare PC we keep in our guest bedroom. It works well, but won't support Windows 10 (maybe a blessing?) Would this adapter be an improvement? -
This would be an upgrade. This was the adapter from my last AutoCad machine running dual monitors. New it ran in the $575.00 range.
How about we let this run through close of business Thursday? At least I know it is saved from the scrap bin. Good luck

Not in, but great karma. Its a nice graphics card for sure. I am not using any desktops right now, would definitely be better than the built in ones.Sony BDP-S6500 | Raspberry Pi 2 | XBOX One S | Wii --> Yamaha RX-V667 --> Adcom 5006 bridged to 175 watts for front LCR -- >Front: Polk Audio RTi8s | Center: CSi5 | Side Surrounds: RTi4s | Rear surrounds: FXiA4s | Cheap 12" sub woofer|Samsung UN60KU6300

Since threads are useless without pics here are a couple. I pulled the fan/heatsink for a good cleaning rebedding the GPU with Arctic Silver Ceramique 2

Merry Christmas to DaveMuell. PM me an address and I wil get this sent out Monday.
There were no replys on the RAM so if anyone here can use it just let me know.
Thanks for participating. I hate seeing useful parts hit the recycling bin. -
Excellent ! I'll pm in a minute.
