Looking for a surround receiver and mounting recommendations

Hi all, I'm building an entry level 5.1 setup in my family room. I'm using Monitor 40s as fronts, Monitor 30s as surrounds, a CS1 for center, and an SVS PB1000 sub. I'm looking for a receiver that compliments this combo. My primary concern is movies, but I'd also like to listen to music on this setup.
I've been looking at the Denon AVR-S910W, but I'm wondering if this will pair well with my setup. This was my target price range, but I'm willing to spend more if it makes sense.
2 questions:
1) Does anyone have a good receiver recommendation for my setup (Denon or another manufacturer)?
2) Can anyone recommend a solid set of wall mounts for the Monitor 40s and 30s?
Thanks!

Sometimes sonic sacrifices have to be made.
For the same $499 you could get a $1,200 Marantz.

For $50 more you could get a $1,600 Yamaha

I'd be happy with either of these. Much happier than with that Denon.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Understood, but the main reason I was thinking wall mounting (for now) is because I have little kids running around.
Understandable....but then you should look for a front ported speaker. A rear ported design against the wall will sound bloated.
Any receiver in the same price range as that Denon should do ok. I would certainly make sure whatever you get has 5.1 preouts though. If you ever want to upgrade speakers down the line, the preouts will enable you to add more power by adding an additional amplifier. Without them, your stuck with what the receiver gives you.HT SYSTEM-

Being rear ported speakers, I'm not sure wall mounting is the best route to take.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

@tonyb: I already had the Polk Monitor 30s on hand. I did try to look at some creative child-proofing options with speaker stands, but in the end, I decided to purchase these mounts (which hopefully gives a little breathing room at least):

@Nightfall: After drooling over a bunch of receivers from the links you posted, I decided to go with the Marantz sr7008 (which also has the preouts that @tonyb suggested).
Thanks for the advice all. -
Those brackets should work....keep the speakers off and away from being up against the wall. Nice receiver too, let us know how it all sounds.HT SYSTEM-
