Would like to find a set of SDA1C's in the Houston vicinity , all original is fine . Budget is 3 to 4 hundred . Will consider others but these are my preference .

    Thanks for the heads up , looks like someone is working on a deal . I have had some 2B's , not the studio version though . I preferred the 1B's I had and should have kept , looking for C's because of the ohm rating but would not turn down 1B's .

    There has been a set here in Dallas area for 600 for quite some time.If you talk to him and can get him at a decent price I can go check them out for you and see if it would be worth your trip .

    FYI-dkfreebird is a great guy and has a good eye for good deals. If timing is right I may be able to transport from Dallas to Houston.

    Thanks for the kind offers , have a feeling getting someone to drop the price in half won't happen . I'm not in a rush , have enough speakers to listen to . Will see what shows up a little closer.
