ADCOM with Rti A9's

Hello all,

I am all over the place trying to decide what I want to do for upgrades..lol

I have a older Kenwood 100w/channel with pre-outs and I have a chance with a local guy to purchase an Adcom Gfa 555ii. This however is a 2 channel amp. I do not run surrounds but have an A6 center. Should I just look for a 3 channel amp or just let the receiver power the center and use the Adcom for the mains?

I probably think I should look into a new AVR before I look into seperate amps..lol

Kenwood DR-V5070

Panamax M4300-PM Power Conditioner

Working on updating my set up

    Poolgod,

In an ideal world, most would prefer to amp their front 3 but using a 2 channel and letting the receiver handle the center is fine too. You may simply have to adjust the speaker levels on the center to compensate. Besides, the center isn't even used for 2 channel music.

You could use that Kenwood as a pre & if you dont like it, you can always upgrade to a Pioneer or one that fits better down the road.
