Rti8 surrounds

I recently purchased the following 5.1 setup
Song str-dn1060 receiver
Polk rti8 fronts
Csi3 center
Rc60i rears in ceiling
Klipsch k100-sw

It's a small room about 13x17. I use it about 50/50 for movies and music. One thing I noticed is the rears buzzing a bit when I start to crank it on bass heavy tunes. I dont want to push it so I am wondering if I should get something beefier for the rears. Is there a better 6.5 in ceiling speaker that would better match my fronts? I can tell the fronts are more than enough for the room but I think better rears are needed. I'll just put the rears somewhere else in the house when I finish the whole house setup. I also have a pair of rc6s I have still in boxes but didn't think these would work

Side question, can anyone think why I can't get the receiver to handle the sound for the tv itself? (Not cable, but watching youtube or network movies through the lg smart tv) Its hooked up to the tv out and works to display the tv's menu, but it doesn't play sound and I can't seem to figure it out

Thanks in advance

    Couple things by my observations.

You have a small room there, no 6.5 inch in ceiling speaker is going to deliver the bass output of the rti8's. Turn it down, your over driving those in ceiling speakers.

You may have your crossover set up wrong....OR the receiver in general. Make sure those in ceiling speakers are set to small, and your crossover around 70-80 to remove any lower bass from them. If you want more bass in that position, you need to move to a better speaker that isn't an in-ceiling. A better sub would help too if your a bass head. As always, listen carefully and back off the volume dial when things start sounding congested or weird, everything has it's limits. Not all of that volume dial is usable.

Your tv, should have an optical output to connect to the receiver. You have to go into the TV's settings and tell it how to output the sound. Then you go into the receivers settings on the input you have the tv connected to and tell it how to process the sound it's receiving on that input.

Some TV's don't have an optical connection going out, only hdmi....the process is the same. Some however will only output 2 channel audio and not 5.1, a trip to your owners manual or on line manual may help you in that regard.
