I need some backup 6600X's but I have a Dared preamp to buy right now. Thanks for sharing. Have you had any experience with buying MW's on eBay and having to get your money back because of magnet shift during shipping?afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

Ive bought 5-6 over the years with good results. I always ask questions & ask how its getting packaged-never a problem yet. Knock on wood..

Have the ones you bought been epoxied or original glue? Are eBay sellers willing to epoxy the magnets before shipping them? I assume no.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

I have asked them to tape them real good and all but one did so. Whether it helps or not i can't say but the piece of mind for me helps. I have yet to experience a shift from shipping drivers.

That is reassuring news. Seems like a fickle situation. They can survive the abuse of USPS, get them home, look at them wrong and they shift.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.
