Inexpensive IC's

Blue Jeans seems to be pretty good bang for your buck. I need a six foot pair for an experiment so I dont want to spend a ton of money. Thanks

I shouldn't have said I dont have a ton of money, actually I dont have any money and I am going into the hole on cables. I would love to try something different I already have BJC's on everything.

You math is off, check the IC-3. The .5 meter are $80.00, add $60.00 to make a 2.0 meter pair.

Morrow audio has a pretty reasonable deal going. Right now they have 35% off new cables, or if you want to trade in your existing cables you can get 40% off. You also have 60 days to decide if you like them or not and can send back if not. They also offer an easy pay plan of 3 payments if you so desire. I ordered some myself to try out and am awaiting shipment. Seem to get great reviews. http://morrowaudio.com

The oppo is that far away it is not in the rack. I think I have the stuff to add one more shelf but I have to look and see. Maybe I should because I imagine shorter is better.

Yes you can. They said any trade in, you just have to list it in the comments what you are trading in. I have some cheap monster cables that I'm trading in. A deal I could not pass up to try out some better cables. You can do the same for there speaker cables as well. Here is there ad.

Try Morrow Audio cables against your "existing brand" cables for up to 60 days.
If you like the Morrow cables, ship us your "existing brand" trade in cables.
If you don't like the Morrow Audio cables, ship them back for a full refund.
You get 40% off TODAY on the Morrow Audio cables desired for the "existing brand" cables that you trade in later!
Values do not need to match. Your cables can be of any value with this program!

It sounds like you need to do some serious reorganizing of the area? Remove everything not audio related and put it in the garage. End tables, bookshelves, furniture, etc. :p

K reserves are empty. I got some sub 200 buck cables coming. The BJC's would be 30 bucks and change. At least I got some no name stuff to check out where the oppo dac is compared to the yamaha dac

Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. I used the lc1 in my theater for years with zero complaints. I've also had good luck with a cable called ultra link caliber. Great bang for the buck, good build quality and sound great for the price of 39 bucks. I have several pairs kicking around as back ups.

I use bluejeans for my subwoofer cable, and I really like their Belden 1694A digital cables--in fact I prefer them over many much higher priced dig coaxes.

Nice, I just put the 2 luminous cables into service connecting my Harman to my para. The others have been unused so far, other than one was used as a sub cable till I rearranged, and now that a moboprice has replaced it, there's a bit of booniness to the bass, it seems more in your face and not rolling off as smooth. It doesn't sound as good anymore, will have to get me a new cable.
