Having the second dedicated line added was even more reinforcement that it does make a difference and a real good one at that. This time for the new line I did swap out the outlets I used in the first project (last Sat) which were Hubell Hospital grade and those are nice and really hole the plug tight. Those are at now (right at home) in my living room set up where our HT set up is. I wasn't expecting much with this one as the gear is just so-so. Man was I wrong. The change was real noticeable and all I have for an amp in this set up is an Acurus 5 X 125 and a modest Onkyo receiver. The dedicated line has us hearing the system at a whole other level. Very happy we did this.

The 2 FIM 880 outlets now installed where my 2 channel rig is has made a very nice audible difference. Bass is even tighter and details in music are much clearer. No regrets in this change and am now on the lookout for a power center that my #1 Polk forum member/adviser and friend told me to find. Wouldn't ya know this search wont be easy, but I'll stay on the hunt. I'm just thrilled with the dedicated lines I added and looking back to my original post, the link I shared in that post is exactly the formula I had done except I stepped up the Outlets for my 2 channel rig.

I added a dedicated 20 line for my main living room rig, my home theater and my man room with the SDA's.

I only added it in the SDA room because I was getting crazy interference from the florescent light coming through the speakers.

I got a blacker background for sure, and peace of mind (which like it or not...counts for something :) )

  • The dedicated lines we did are sure a sweet and worthwhile add and can't believe it took me so long to get it done. Thanks again to those that steered me in the right direction. How cool You are.

Yeah brother. Show the link in my op to your co worker and use the recipe you'll see there. Amazing results. Hope to talk soon.
