Password reset email?

Just got an email that says:

"Someone has requested to reset your password at Polk Audio. To reset your password, please follow this link:

Then it gives a link:

And then it says:

If you did not make this request, disregard this email.

Now I made no such request, but apparently somebody did? Which means they tried to login as me and requested a forgot password or password reset request?

Is this site being compromised....

Ken is this site secure?

Who is doing this? and can they be be traced?

    Hello,
    Everything seems correct, you are properly registered, password unchanged. The message might have been triggered when you registered a second username and password with the same IP address.

    Not buying or referring any more. I have spent a lot and referred 10 X more.

    Go tell your boss you got rid of the troublemakers... and the customers and posters who refer too.

    But then you try to register a new username.......it begs the question as to why? I am seriously just wondering because the skeptic in me says it was to stir the pot. You're a long time contributing member and if I am off base I apologize. But seems fishy to me.......
    And if there was intent to troll ad stir the pot, you're better than that.

    I got the same email notice this morning and no, I was not trying to a register a new username, etc. Fishy? You bet. Do I have an idea of who? You bet.
