    Got it this morning as well, but didn't even realize it was the F&F :open_mouth:

    The "up to 50%" in big red letters part overshadowed the "Friends and Family" part in my eyes! Hopefully it is similar to prior offerings...

    bah. looks like I'm gonna be on hold for sebbenOcincos for a while longer.

    I was just reading a review on those T50's though. pretty well reviewed, but supposedly take a slight second seat to the Pioneer SP-FS52's? I don't know, still I like the idea of sealed with two passives in the T50, especially at this deal. The T50's are more efficient, too.

    Yeah. Definitely looks different this time. Don't see the sub I was eyeing on the list so I may be safe. And I should be able to sleep without fear of pulling the trigger on the 707s after a late nite beer or 3. So I can stop reading the 705 vs 707 threads, sit back, and crank what I have. Best of luck for others.

    Check polks store on eBay for the 705or 707. Newer 705 owner here and it does well in my room.

    Am I missing something or is this NOT a "Friends & Family" sale? There's no code that I could find in either email I got, and it just looks like a general sale anyone can get to by just going directly to Polk's home page. Some prices are decent, but nothing to tempt an impulse buy :p

    yeah, just seemed like a regular sale to me
    to me, it's not a real F&F if it doesn't make you feel like you're about to ish yourself for what you're considering buying. that last F&F made me feel like I was snooping in my parents' closet for Christmas presents knowing that they could be home any minute.

    Well the T50s were on sale at best buy today same price as the F&F. I went to best buy to get a couple of Samsung S6 galaxy edges for a penny each, can't beat that deal. To make a long story short, don't get me wrong I love Polk Audio see my signature but the T50s don't do a thing for me the Pioneer counterparts sounded better to me, the build quality of the pioneers reek of cheapness the Polks build quality being somewhat better but honestly, I would not buy either at sale price let alone full price. I was not impressed at all but don't let my opinions talk anyone out of them, for the price and for a starter HT setup they might appeal to some, just my .02.

    Thanks for your honesty gudnoyez, you probably have it right about the T50's being fine for a starter HT setup. To be fair, I've heard some really decent speakers sound disappointing at BB,lol.
